1 The RealReal Partners With 11 Honoré

Who: The RealReal and 11 Honoré

What: a circular partnership

Where: Online at

Why: Given the fashion industry’s sizing problem and the proliferation of shipments, The RealReal is making a valiant effort to solve an lingering problem — by partnering with plus-size fashion e-tailer 11 Honoré to offer including sizes in the second-hand market. Anyone who ships a garment XL or larger in the luxury consignment market will receive a 30 percent discount on their entire transaction to shop 11 Honoré and other designers on the site, for a limited time. “Within the primary market, luxury fashion is not known for its size inclusiveness, which in turn affects the resale market,” Sasha Skoda, The RealReal’s head of merchandising, told “Our goal is to produce even more clothing that is inclusive at The RealReal, so that everyone – all body types – has access to second-hand luxury.”

Who: Louis Vuitton

What: “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition”

Where: 660 Madison Avenue, NYC

Why: Louis Vuitton has been taking its “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries” exhibit around the world since August 2021, and now it’s its fourth and final stop in New York City. The brand took over the iconic building formerly occupied by Barneys (RIP) to show off 200 unique suitcases created by 200 visionaries covering all aspects of culture. Everyone from Gloria Steinem to Peter Marino and Stephen Sprouse (pictured here) put their spin on the legendary baggage, matching the historical and technical aspects of the exhibition deciphering the genre-defining suitcase. The icing on the cake? LV has reopened Fred’s, the legendary Barneys eatery, which will serve food and drinks for limited periods of time. A setback, indeed.

Mulberry Introduces Softie Outerwear Collection 22 Elizabeth Purpich Collection Elevates Game Day Style

Who: Elizabeth Purpich

What: Launch of Longhorn Mini Bag

Where: Elizabeth Purpich Collection

Why: Forget those viral Bama Rush TikTok fashion videos. Houston-based handbag designer Beth Purpich advocates what she calls “collegiate luxury.” Purpich herself was a former college athlete (she played basketball for Auburn) with a flair for design. She uses only the best materials and the most talented artisans to produce her collections. One of her biggest hits to date is the Longhorn bag, which debuted as a calf hair top handle and found an ideal ambassador for Austin-based stylist Loreal Sarkisian, who happens to be the wife of University of Texas football coach Steve. Sarkisian. Sarkisian, always impeccable (the woman brought Chanel to the sidelines), wore the new miniature (stadium-approved size) in burnt orange alligator to last weekend’s game against Oklahoma, where the Longhorns won 49-0. Maybe it also doubles as a lucky charm?
