The mission of the Senior Manager at Lividini & Co. is to play a leading role in day-to-day account management and the development of communication, marketing and PR programs for clients. The candidate must be an avid consumer of media and popular culture and have a deep affinity with fashion and design. The position calls for an expert publicity strategist and relationship builder. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills, is driven, a strategic thinker and a collaborative team player. The Senior Manager should be familiar with guiding, developing, coaching and mentoring a dynamic team and will report to a Director or Vice President on day-to-day initiatives related to client PR/marketing activities and strategy execution.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related fieldAt least 4-6 years of experience in public relations either internally or at a men’s and women’s editors’ bureau Superior knowledge of fashion/consumer media practices as well as a phenomenal track record in getting top exposure in print and digital media Deep understanding of fashion/accessories/retail trends and market Experience in big brand/big budget event planning a plus Responsible for the management and timely distribution of editorial reports, press releases and budget follow up documents Experience in supervision Mentoring of junior staff is required to manage coordinators and interns Must exhibit strong writing, communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas effectively to clients, agency clients and colleagues Must have a high degree of interest and proficiency in the new media landscape, and experience with social media and points of sale including blogs, communities and networks Must be proficient in Powerpoint, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Cision, Keynote, Fashion GPS and social media networks Must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline focused, energetic environment with a consistent positive attitudeManage at least 3-4 accounts at the same time

Provide strategic press coverage – both articles/news items and product editing in the best national, regional and online media outlets Maintain strong relationships with key fashion/accessories market editors, relevant fashion stylists and bloggers/influencers Assist in creating innovative seasonal strategies for communications for major national and global brands, as well as niche designers Conceptualize and assist in press event execution Event budget management Develop relationships with influencers for product seeding/recruit brand ambassadors Guiding clients and editors on domestic and international press trips Materials Development: creating internal and external client and press materials (e.g. drafting pitches, press kits, media alerts, press releases, reporting/summaries and summaries etc.) Implementing and optimizing a complete PR strategy for various clients nts, especially in the fashion and accessories area Work closely with the team to execute customer strategies and produce results aligned with customer PR weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual goals and tracking brand impressions Extensive customer engagement, handling questions and concerns on a daily basis Manage media outreach calendar to pitch and leverage media opportunities for all clients Daily media request management and facilitation/monitoring Daily sample trade and press clippings/credits folder Manage client report editing and all summaries to ensure ensure all client editorial goals are met Oversee sample and sample cabinet management, maintain a detailed inventory record of all client products Participate in new business pitches as required by the agency Management of Coordinator and Interns
