For our interview, where we talked about the Haus Labs relaunch, she was dressed in a turquoise-blue latex blazer that sometimes made a random beep when she reached close to the camera to show off the color payoff of the Hy-Power Pigment paint or the gloss. in the Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighters – adding, “I don’t like latex and silicone in makeup at all, but I like it in my closet.”

“I was really inspired by the John Paul Gaultier fashion shows where there were hair sculptures. When I was on set for the Poker Face video, I was like, ‘I wonder if there’s a way to wear a hair sculpture that easy to make at home.” So I got a big block of hair extensions and I just made my own bow and pinned it on my head. “This was a day of great commitment. One of the most meaningful performances of my entire career. The hair and make-up are inspired by my bulletproof Schiaparelli dress.
It was Frederic’s idea to put the silk ribbon in my hair, and Sarah’s to make the red lip of the skirt reflect. We went for a very daring beauty look as it was a very daring day. The inspiration was the Italian Renaissance to honor my heritage and the French Revolution to honor truly incredible classical works of art.”
