Affordable Luxury Group was founded in late 2014 as a privately held company with a unique portfolio of global accessory brands; Aimee Kestenberg, American Leather Co., and House of Want. Our expertise lies in design, sourcing, supply chain management and product execution across multiple product categories, including handbags, accessories, cosmetic bags, small leather goods and travel.

About the role: Producer
You’ll work with our Art Director to contribute to seasonal photo shoots for each of our brands, each taking into account unique brand perspectives. You must allocate work, anticipate potential obstacles and take responsibility for completing projects on time and within budget. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help our team solve photoshoot problems and turn them into exciting solutions.

Our ideal candidate will focus on:
• Fulfill projects alongside New York creatives and talent
• Drafting, assessing and assessing assignments on feasibility, scope and budget
• Judging on-the-fly changes in project size, schedule and costs
• Manage logistics for location-specific recordings: call times, vehicles, insurance, etc.
• Turn project roadblocks into opportunities and communicate any problems to clients
• Accurately assess the risks of each project, ask questions and take initiative
• Juggling multiple changing details at sporadic moments and communicating what is
get started proactively
• Leading and contributing to the proactive, positive and solution-oriented team culture
• Maintain a positive spirit while working with our internal team members and all hired talent

What an incredible candidate looks like:
• You have production or agency experience – both is even better
• You have confidence in your abilities and you can think well
• You are sloppy and logical, you know what it takes to get the job done
• You are well under pressure and have previously managed complex projects in a time constraint
• Speak confidently in production terms
• You are organized to the extreme and you keep all files extremely organized
• You are a creative thinker who can think outside the box and foresee problems that may arise when tackling difficult projects
• You are a strong communicator and able to work with creatives on projects that require a lot of logistics
• You are not afraid to take initiative and solve problems independently
• You are fine taking calls or answering emails outside of the regular 9-5.
• You are service oriented – whether with clients, internal teams or our network, you work with people to get the job done.
• Be kind and generous with your expertise, guide team members to promote high performance among your colleagues and help them achieve success
• Curiosity and a desire to always learn
• 3-6 years of experience or equivalent

Responsibilities:
• Be a dedicated freelance Producer to collect high quality products;
• Remain process-oriented and ensure projects are executed to the letter
• Work as a leader to improve our workflows and make suggestions that improve cost, quality and speed.
• Liaise with Finance as needed, prepare budgets and track expenses (ie issues with talent contracts/contributor payments and ensure freelance talent is accounted for while staying on or under budget)
• Liaising with Legal as needed (insurance issues, contract addendums + sending and receiving contracts, ad hoc)
• Book talent and locations after final direction with Art Director. Help Art Director with scouting locations.
• Additional tasks if needed
