Leather is very on-trend this season and I’m really excited about it! (And not just the real deal. Vegan and leatherette are super hot too). I wanted to share three leather pieces that play regularly for me and are SO good. They are well worth the investment! But I also share similar pieces if you’re looking for that luxe leather look for less.
BLAZER | FOR LESS 1 | FOR LESS 2 | JEANS | T-SHIRT | FOR LESS | SIMILAR SNEAKERS | BAG | NECKLACE | CUFF#1) Veronica Beard Cook Leather Blazer
This Veronica Beard blazer is one of those pieces that you put on and feel VERY special when you wear it. I originally bought the brown version of this jacket and when I saw the white one on sale I knew I had to have it! It is over the top gorgeous and I love the color. It has beautiful golden buttons, structured shoulders and is beautifully fitted. I styled it with white Mother flare jeans, a simple white t-shirt and sneakers for a more casual look. You don’t have to see blazers just as workwear! While it’s definitely an investment piece, I know I’ll be wearing it for years to come.
You can read more about my love for Veronica Beard blazers (and some great dupes) here.
SKIRT | FOR LESS | BLOUSE | FOR LESS | BOOTS | BAG | PANTYHOSE#2) IRO leather midi skirt
Another beautiful piece of leather is this sexy lambskin midi skirt! The flattering ruffles and pleated front give the illusion of a slimmer waist and hips. I love the slit in the middle (not too revealing), and the length is perfect! It also has a high waist, which gives the illusion of longer legs. I styled it with a lightweight ba&sh blouse, but you could wear just about any thin top or sweater that doesn’t get bulky around the stomach when tucked in.
SKIRT | JACKET | BODY SUIT | SIMILAR BAG | NECKLACE | EARRINGS | BOOTS#3) YSL Handbag
I bought this YSL handbag while in Spain knowing I needed a versatile bag to wear day and night. The medium size is perfect for all your everyday essentials, but still looks chic and elegant for the evening. The crossbody strap with chain can be removed if you want to wear it on the top handle or as a clutch. The gold hardware is beautiful and adds just that little bit extra.
Luxury leather for less
Each of these pieces is a great foundation for your wardrobe. Think of basics as the anchor for your wardrobe that forms a foundation for all your clothes to work together seamlessly. I tend to spend more on basics because I know how important they are to a functional wardrobe. While all three pieces are gorgeous and worth the investment, I wanted to share a few budget-friendly options if you’re after these luxe looks for less! There are so many beautiful vegan leather options that look and feel like the real deal. Keep scrolling for some pretty awesome dupes!

The vegan long leather blazer on the right in the image above has a more relaxed fit compared to the Veronica Beard double breasted blazer (left) which is more fitted. But you can style it the same with jeans, dresses and skirts. The cream is so gorgeous for a wintery white look, but will also transition beautifully into spring.
Flattering leather midi
This faux leather midi skirt from ASTR The Label on the right side features the same flattering ruffles and pleats to minimize the appearance of a tummy and hips. It also has a high waist, under $100, and is also available in a nice dark brown shade.
All leather dupe
The silhouette, size and hardware of this Kurt Geiger bag on the right are very similar to the YSL bag on the left. And it is 100% leather. It even has a similar chevron pattern and magnetic closure. If you don’t want to splurge on the YSL bag, this would be a great option. I also found and linked a similar version in white!
